Lets all be honest, after market parts for our cars is silly money! So i really want to start going down the diy route whenever possible. Making a mould & laying some carbon weave on a simple shape looks quite straight forward. Carbonmods sells kits and for around £100 id end up with a mould kit and 30x100cm carbon fibre. Which would be more than enough to make some exterior door handles and and a few other bits. Buying some of the shelf is: eu.tougedistribution.com/item--Seeker-Door-Handle-Covers-Carbon--000-SEEK-FN2-009/ + 2-3 moth shipping time, import tax, postage... its stooopid tbh. Opinions? Anyone else ever done it? YouTube vids are very informative.
